My morning has been full of chasing this little monster around

She is obsessed with getting into my sewing machine box.

And then laughs and turbo crawls away from me when I go to get her

Funny.

Really funny.

I remember the days when I would put her on the floor and she would sit still.

We might go to a cidermill today to get a pumpkin big enough for Ellie to sit in

I think we're going to finally get over to see my new niece since Ellie is feeling better.

Later tonight my bff and her bf is coming over for some grub and game night.

Scattergories?? Definitely.

We let daddy sleep in since he went back to crazy hours at work and had some girl time this morning

She learned real quick that she has to duck if she's going to go under the table! So now she shimmy's under there like a pro!!!

I just can't believe how big she's getting!

Then we made some of this for the BBQ at my dads house this afternoon.

I just wish it wasn't almost 100* out today...but I guess it's fitting seeing as it's the last weekend of summer.

Ellie slept in until 8:45 this morning..Hallelujah..

Mike is off at the Dreamcruise so I'm flyin solo all day.

So after some Melon, Banana, and Avocado for breakfast

  It's off to the living room to get into everything play until nap time

I'm really confused as to how she got so big!!

This afternoon we have an engagement party for my best friend.

She and her fiance are such a perfect couple!

Saturday Morning Scene

The hubs let me (with some persuasion) sleep in this morning....HALLELUJAH!

The L&D beds in the hospital were full so my sister didn't get admitted for her induction this morning. BOOOO!!!! So hopefully she will get in this afternoon so we can drive over and hopefully she will have the baby before we have to leave on Sunday. So instead of holding a fresh, snuggly, squishy, sweet smelling baby this is my SMS:

We got home from vacation yesterday so we have plenty to do this weekend. Thankfully I was smart enough to do laundry at the cabin before we left so I can cross that off the list!!! Coming home from vacation with all clean clothes feels ahhhh-mazing.

This morning we got up with the little one then it was back to bed for everyone at nap time.

So now it's time to actually get ready for the day....because we had TONS of family time this past week so today...grandma is coming over so that Mike and I can go on a date...It's been a couple months. So Olive Garden and "Friends With Benefits" here we come!!!!

This morning we're just hanging out spending time with Ellie because we have wedding number 2 of 4  for this summer today. Mike is actually in this wedding and other than the bride and groom he's the only one I know, so I'm going to be spending a lot of time alone today :( My mom is taking E overnight (that's a brave lady-she's teething.) so were soaking up some sweet baby time. Little Miss thinks she's big and is starting to climb on stuff. A few seconds after this picture she toppled over and bumped her noggin'. I know there are plenty more falls to come. I have a feeling my nervous mom genes are going to start kicking in. I just love her little cloth diapered butt!

Mike is off roofing...again...and since it's been hotter than blue blazes out lately little E and I are going to a friends house for a cookout and her first swimming experience! I really hope she likes it cause this momma, wants needs to go swimming!

I am hoping beyond hope that these diapers and bathing suit fit her. Or we will just have a nakie baby in the pool!

She is obviously so excited about it!

Still on the tag kick, she's has this whole jumperoo to play with and what does she want....

It's gonna be a hard knock life when she wakes up one morning to realize that all of her beloved tags have been cut off!

Saturday Morning Scene

This morning Mike left around 7:00 to go help my brother put a new roof one his house. My brother said he was having a roofing party...but that didn't trick me, I knew there was no "party" in that! ha!

Ellie woke up around 5:30am this morning, so I fed her and usually she falls right back asleep. Well the past two mornings ummmm no. So this morning I put her back in her crib and went back to bed. She was quiet for about a half-an-hour and then started talking to herself (super cute) and then she started fussing so when Mike left he brought her into our room where we snuggled and hung out for a little while. She was eating off-and-on and lo and behold sometime around 8:00 she fell back asleep and we napped until 10:00. HALLELUJAH! This Momma neeeeeeeded some shut-eye!

After we got out of bed we came out to the living room to play. She has plenty of choices when it comes to toys

But this is what she chooses...

A tag on one of her toys. This is not an unusual choice. She has some weird obsession to tags. The bigger the better

The rest of the day belongs to the hideous flower beds outside that are going to get weeded and gutted this afternoon. Let me try to contain my excitement.

So this morning we picked up little E from grandmas house and came home to spend the day snuggling and playing with her since we I missed her so much yesterday! It is so weird to not have her with me all the time! I kept feeling like I was forgetting something. I really missed her!
