Delicate Darlings

I'm linking up with Kelly today for SUYL what you make or sell.

Between my two sisters and I we have 4 girls under 5 and we love dressing them up in girly, frilly, fun outfits and accessories. The three of us love to craft and enjoy making things for our girls and other people so a few months ago my sisters and I started throwing around the idea of starting our own little business and creating all things girly. At first it started as just something fun that we would talk about when we got together, but the more we talked about it the more we wanted to see it happen.

We've been praying that God would show us if this is something He wants us to do, and we are so excited to see where things go from here. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at our creations!

Delicate Darlings

One of our specialties is our beautiful tutu-dresses. The tops are 2 crocheted 6 inch bands for total coverage and modesty.
There are 2 layers of tulle on the skirt for maximum fullness.

We also offer framed hair accessory holders
that accent any nursery or bedroom.

This is a fun way to display and
 protect your hair accessories

Accessory holders can be made with or with-out fabric. Here is one full of flowers.

Our Etsy site is currently under

Sometimes and Always

Linking up with Megan today for Sometimes and Always

Sometimes: I tell myself that I am going to get something accomplished while Ellie is napping
Always: I take a nap myself and end up doing chores at 9:00 at night

Sometimes: When my alarm goes off to work out at 6:00 a.m. I turn it off and tell myself I will work out before bed
Always: I lie in bed awake and say who am I kidding and get up and do it

Sometimes: I feel like the weather is never going to warm up so we can play outside
Always: The hint of a sunny day and we are out the door

Sometimes: I have a whole blog post written in my head
Always: The day gets crazy and I never get a chance to get online and actually type it out

Sometimes: I really wish Panera had a drive thru
Always: I know it would be really bad for my wallet and my waistline

Friday's Letters

Photobucket

Dear Mom2Mom Sale Be prepared-I am expecting to make a lot of money off our business tomorrow. Be prepared for Delicate Darlings to blow your mind with our gorgeous tutu dresses and adorable hair accessory holders. I am not however excited to the early morning wake-up call on a Saturday.
Dear Michigan Weather Thank you for the gorgeous weather that we had yesterday early afternoon, taking the kids to the park was so much fun! It was so nice to be able to actually get out of the house. I did not appreciate the rain after nap time. Let's get it together shall we?
Dear Ellie You are so stinkin cute. I loved playing with you yesterday and watching you fearlessly run all around the park and make "friends" with all the other kids. But I am going to be keeping an eye on the little boy that picked you a flower. You aren't allowed to date until you are married. Watching you "rock, rock" in your rocking chair is so adorable, but you quickly learned why we don't stand on it.

Dear Hubs I am so excited for the work schedule that you are going to have during the summer semester. It will be so nice to see you more during the week...and I will love sleeping in on the days that you go into work late. I thank you in advance for letting me sleep in ;) I am already planning all the adventures that we can take Ellie on this summer!
Dear body I am expecting some pretty extreme results from this p90x that I am making you do. I am not going to be sore for nothing. We have 2 weddings to get ready for, you better not let me down!
Dear Ellie I just have to again how much I love you and enjoy being able to spend every day with you. Your little personality cracks me up and you  just amaze me every day-but I could do away with this new 5:00pm "witching hour" you get everyday while I try to make dinner.

My sweet Ellie Belle

Linking up with Kelly for Show Us Your Life this week.

Two years ago little did we know our lives were about to change forever.
We found out I was pregnant in April of 2010. We both were pretty surprised!
In August we discovered that we were going to be the parents of a little girl.
I always told myself I wanted to have a boy first so that my kids would have a big brother to look out for them but secretly I really wanted a little girl. I never knew how much I could love someone.
Eleanor Ruth was born December 15, 2010

She is now almost 16 months old and I couldn't imagine my life without her. God has blessed us immensely with our little girl and I am so thankful to be able to stay home and care for her. These years are so precious and the days fly by, I feel like she was just a newborn yesterday. We would love to eventually add more children to our family and I am praying for another girl next. Although I would love to have boys one day.
I have twin brothers who are 4 years older than me and have always wished for a sister. (I am so thankful for my SIL's that God has brought into my life) I hope that I will be able to give Ellie a sister one day. I love dressing her up and putting her in dresses with big matching flowers. She is the light of my life and I am so grateful for her. It seems that I love her more each and every day.

She is such a little ham and loves to dance. All you have to do is say "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle" and she will dance her way around the room. She is always on the go and is just learning to climb all over anything and everything.

She is my littlest best friend and I love her so much!!

Thursday Catch Up

It's been forever since I've actually sat down at the computer! I finally joined the grown up world and got a smart phone a few weeks ago so now I can just do everything from my phone...except I don't have the patience-or time-to sit and write a blog post on it.
So let's play catch-up
Sunday was April Fools day and I posted an old ultrasound picture of Ellie on Facebook

A few people took the bait, while a few others called my bluff.
I even commented that it was an April Fools joke before I went to bed. I had some family that apparently didn't see the JOKE part and were pretty upset so I had to write this

But apparently that wasn't enough because I had to post this later that day
1. It was April Fool's simmer down 2. Would I really announce to my FAMILY that I was preggers on Facebook-Uh NO. 3. I am NOT pregnant!!!

Tuesday my SIL (the one that lives with us) went in for a Dr. appointment cause her stomach was bothering her and they ended up sending her to the ER because they thought it was appendicitis (It wasn't appendicitis and they have ran a bunch of other tests and they still aren't sure what is wrong so keep her in your prayers because she is in a lot of pain) so I got to play super Aunt and have a little taste of what it would be like having 4 kids on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was pretty chaotic around here!! But luckily it was a semi-nice day Wednesday so we could play outside.

It's crunch time getting things ready for our mom2mom sale in Walled Lake on April 21st. I'm starting to get a little nervous that we won't have everything done in time. I am going to see if my lovely hubby will help me paint frames this weekend. Here's a little glimpse of what we will be selling

Hopefully we will have our Etsy shop up and running soon!

I need 100 of these rompers. They are the cutest things ever.
I die.

Hopefully things will calm down in the next week so that I have time to bust out some flower frames!!
